Description

The store manager will be responsible for the overall operation of the liquor and grocery store. They will perform store reviews alongside upper management. The key focus areas include: customer service, company policies, stock levels, product presentation, store cleanliness, storage organization, transaction accuracy, loss prevention, and workplace social environment. They will delegate projects based on the reviews, monitor quality of work, and provide feedback. They should lead by example and work alongside the team while constantly assessing each employee’s knowledge and providing ongoing training. They must enforce all ID checking, and food safety laws. Other duties include: writing schedules, managing time cards, assisting with ordering, evaluating and improving business processes, onboarding new hires, delivering write ups, and any other tasks required to constantly improve the store. This position is perfect for an experienced leader who adapts quickly to new work environments.


Requirements

21 years of age or older

Drivers license with no DUI or major violations

2 years of cash handling experience

2 years of customer service experience

2 years of experience in a lead role

Servsafe Managers Certification (Can be obtained after hiring)

TIPS Alcohol Certification (Can be obtained after hiring)

High school diploma

Background Check

Fluent English

Preferred

2+ years of experience in a liquor or grocery store

Pay

Pay will be on a commission basis with a minimum base salary. Specific rate will be discussed in the interview process.
